I (Todd) put together a band of great friends and great musicians for Tonic Ball 2017 to do some psychedelic-metal Beatles covers. Tonic is an amazing all-covers 5-venue all-night music extravaganza in Fountain Square, Indianapolis that benefits Second Helpings, who use surplus food to feed needy families.
We performed a medley of classic cosmic Beatles tunes, and the rehearsal version is taken from our final rehearsal the night before the show. Also included is the warts-and-all live version from the night of Tonic, a seriously amazing experience that we all hope the attendees enjoyed, and now you the listener will enjoy as well.
I also included an intimate, honest, unperfected version of Across The Universe, right from my bedroom, in keeping with the cosmic theme of the other songs.

KickASS EDM by Matas, the producer of CtA. As the title states, diversity is key, just as with Channel. Texture, development, clarity, atmosphere...all perfectly balanced. Don't miss out! Channel the Animal
Matas, who records Channel the Animal, writes and drums for this band. Eventually I'm gonna play bass for them. Old-school Cannibal Corpse meets Dying Fetus meets your face. Channel the Animal
The new progressive death metal project from two members of Ephel Duath, Red Rot strikes a balance between raw pummel and technical prowess. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 23, 2022
