Infinite thanks to:
Matas (sounds so sick…thanks for putting up with my guitar playing, and me being so fussy. I’m a doctor too); Derek Johnson (my biggest fan and mentor); Matt (you’re wonderful, and the art KILLS); Tori (still owe you some beers for the photos); anyone at all who listens to this and my other music; all the bands and musicians that have inspired me in any way (there’s a list of them on the Facebook…). Also to all the loyal friends I’ve made who have listened to my bellyaching. You might not even know who you are, but I do and you’ve all made this music possible in your own small ways.
NO thanks to:
Anyone who’s ever discouraged me from making music how I want to, or made me feel inferior or frustrated. It took me a while, but now I’ve done it anyway. Hope you hate it!
Rest In Punk: Stephen Peck aka Speck. I wanted you to make art for the next EP, but last Saturday the 25th you died unexpectedly. I was informed that you heard the test mixes of this EP and you thought it was cool. I saw a lot of your art and met you in person and both ruled. We lost some crazy talent and super passion.
"Down the middle drops one more
Grain of sand
They say that
New life makes losing life easier to understand
Words are kind
They help ease the mind
I'll miss my old friend
And though you gotta go
We'll keep a piece of your soul
One goes out
One comes in"
- Jack Johnson
